The trembling earth made her freeze in place, her eyes widening with alarm when suddenly, a large tree beside her was ripped from it's roots in the ground! Shocked and caught off guard, Sofija yelped when a thick branch suddenly struck her in the face, knocking her down and leaving her breathless for a moment. She quickly curled in on herself to try and protect herself from the falling debris, closing her eyes tightly and hoping beyond hope that the giant wouldn't notice her. Unfortunately, she suddenly heard a gasp and a loud voice addressing her, and the huntress knew she had been caught. Just as she was about to dash off into the foliage to hide from view, she flinched when large fingers gently took hold of her, and held her in the air until she gingerly put her feet on the ground, standing with in shocked silence for a moment just looking up at the giant who was speaking to her in a worried manner. This...this was the giant they had sent her after?? It couldn't be, he had to be from another area, he seemed too sweet-natured to be a family kidnapper or killer. But he could always be trying to deceive her, giants and humans were not incapable of that...she reached up a hand to her cheek when he said she was bleeding, grimacing when she felt something sticky on her palm and frowning more when she noticed the large stain of blood that was now on her hand. Apparently that branch had left quite the scratch on her face. Ah, he had even offered to take her to his home, this was the perfect chance to see if this was the giant she had been told about, and be taken right to his house instead of searching around for it aimlessly!
Still though...guilt was starting to churn in her heart, and she found herself hoping that either this wasn't the giant she'd been sent to kill, or that there had been a misunderstanding. She didn't think she'd have the heart to harm someone who offered to tend to her wounds in such a kind manner. "Ah...yes, that would be very kind of you, sir giant." She said with a hesitant smile, patting herself down to clean some of the fallen dirt off of herself, "It was an accident, think nothing of it. Might I know your name though, if I am going to your home?" She asked this out of curiosity, and also for confirmation. The villagers had given her the name of the giant she was sent to hunt, after all...
